The Agreement

1 Consultation Fee

Your journey begins with a £50 consultation and colour analysis. This fee is non-refundable, as it reserves my time and expertise. If you decide to go ahead with the Soft Grow-Out Journey, the full £50 is deducted from your total investment.

2 Booking, Cooling-Off & Cancellations

• 14-day cooling-off period. As required by UK law, you may cancel within 14 days of signing this agreement (and before your first colour appointment) for a full refund of any journey payment, minus the non-refundable consultation fee.
• Late cancellation. If you cancel within one week of your first booked appointment, a cancellation fee of £150 applies to cover the time reserved for you.
• Once the journey has begun, payments are non-refundable, as your colour is planned and products are ordered specifically for you.
• Colouring your hair elsewhere or at home during the journey, without agreeing it with me first, may affect your results and can bring the agreement to an end with no refund.

Your journey runs over approximately nine months across three appointments and includes:

• Personalised colour analysis and a bespoke grow-out plan
• All bespoke colour services across your three appointments
• Blow-dries, and a haircut where needed, as part of your appointments
• All professional colour and care products used in the salon
• Your Soft Grow-Out Kit for home care (£65 value)

5 Your Journey & Commitment

The Soft Grow-Out Journey is a planned process designed to grow your grey out gently over time. Choosing a major change mid-journey — for example returning to an all-over dye — works against the plan and will bring this agreement to an end with no refund. After your journey, I recommend a maintenance appointment every 3–6 months to keep your blend soft and healthy.

6 Hair Health & Suitability

Your hair's health always comes first. Colour will not be applied if your hair is not in a healthy enough state to take it safely. If your hair has significant previous damage or heavy box-dye build-up, this may limit what's achievable — we'll always discuss this honestly at your consultation and adjust the plan accordingly.

7 Photos & Social Media

I love sharing transformations, but only ever with your consent. At your consultation you'll choose one of the following:

• Photos for my records only — never shared publicly
• Happy to be featured on social media
• Happy to be featured with my face blurred / cropped
• No use on social media at all

8 Liability

I take great care at every appointment. I cannot, however, be held liable for delays or changes caused by circumstances outside my control — such as illness, emergencies, supplier issues, or contact details that haven't been kept up to date.

9 Your Responsibilities

To keep you safe and get the best result, you agree to complete a patch test at least 48 hours before your first colour appointment where required, to follow the aftercare advice given, and to disclose any medical conditions, allergies, sensitivities or medications that may affect your hair or scalp. Please also keep your contact details up to date.

10 Data Protection (GDPR)

Your details are stored securely and used only to carry out your service and, where you've agreed, to contact you about your care. Your data is never sold or shared with third parties unless legally required. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time — just email thehairhideaway@hotmail.com.

11 Governing Law

This agreement is governed by, and interpreted in accordance with, the laws of the United Kingdom.

12 Severability

If any part of this agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that part will be treated as removed and the remainder of the agreement will continue in full force and effect, keeping as close as possible to the original intention.

13 Changes to This Agreement

I may update these terms from time to time. Where I do, you'll be notified in writing. If you do not accept an updated term, this may mean your service cannot continue.

14 Entire Agreement

This document is the entire agreement between you and The Hair Hideaway and replaces any earlier discussions or arrangements. Any change to it must be agreed in writing by both of us.
